Can I consume CBD and drive?
With certain so-called “full spectrum” products (which contain traces of THC), there may be a risk during roadside checks.
Our Evielab pearls are very different:
• they are formulated with pure CBD, guaranteed 0% THC,
• they therefore do not cause any psychotropic or “high” effects,
• and above all, they present no legal risk in the event of a police test, since THC is the only molecule sought and sanctioned.
In summary, our products are safe to use, even if you have to drive.
What is CBD?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a cannabis compound naturally occurring in marijuana and hemp.
It is part of the cannabinoid family (compounds unique to cannabis plants). Among the 100 identified varieties, it is the second most abundant cannabinoid after tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
Studies have shown that CBD has promising medicinal properties, particularly for arthritis, epilepsy and other diseases.
Will CBD get me high?
CBD is not like THC, it will not get you high.
The psychoactive effect has not been proven. However, CBD has a multifaceted effect on the human nervous system, but intoxication is not one of them.
Is CBD really natural?
CBD, or cannabidiol, is a molecule from the cannabinoid family naturally present in hemp flowers. Cannabinoids are organic.
CBD is the most abundant cannabinoid in hemp plants, and the most popular due to its many health benefits
How to consume CBD?
CBD is consumed in a variety of ways, usually through inhalation, topical application, or oral consumption.
Traditionally, people smoked cannabis. Now, vaporizing extracted CBD oil is also possible. The problem lies in the accuracy of dosage, as it is difficult to measure the amount of CBD consumed.
That's why Evielab produces micropearls with precise dosages that are easy to consume. Each micropearl contains the precise amount of CBD indicated on the label and added terpenes for enhanced effects.
What is CBG?
CBG (Cannabigerol) is a natural compound in hemp that is legal when extracted from hemp seeds and stalks.
Are terpenes dangerous?
The terpenes used in our products are aromatic molecules naturally present in many fruits, vegetables, and plants (such as lemon, lavender, or rosemary). They are recognized as safe by European and American authorities (EFSA, FEMA/GRAS) when used at food doses, which is the case at Evielab.
In our pearls, terpenes are present in tiny quantities, strictly controlled and without any toxic risk.
In summary:
• Evielab terpenes are used at the same doses as those naturally present in common foods.
• No cases of side effects have been reported with our products.
* Our products are therefore safe and suitable for adult consumption, within the intended framework.
Is CBD legal?
In Europe, CBD is not considered a drug, but is regulated by legislation surrounding the use of hemp. It is perfectly legal to purchase and consume products containing it as long as they comply with European regulations.
*The WHO recommended that CBD not be classified as a controlled substance, stating that cannabidiol did not appear to be harmful to health.
What is the difference between marijuana and hemp?
Hemp and cannabis are often confused, these two plants share the same roots.
Strains containing more than 0.2% THC are referred to as cannabis, while varieties containing less than 0.2% THC are referred to as hemp.
